About Us

A Mama's Apothecary came to be from my own personal journey as a mother seeking natural and safe skincare for my family. It all started when I was on the lookout for a moisturizer that was free from harmful toxins and made with wholesome ingredients.

I had previously used a tallow-based product for my own contact dermatitis and eczema during my healthcare working days, and it had worked wonders for my skin. However, sourcing tallow in Australia proved to be difficult, so I began experimenting with locally sourced and organic ingredients until I perfected my own recipe. And this continued to expand into the products available now. All products and recipes that I’ve used at home for my family and I over many years.

I am a big believer in the premise that “healthcare starts at home” and I believe in doing it right with clean, safe products. But let's be real, finding a product that actually ticks all the boxes can be a nightmare.
